Dr. Billie K. Winter
Dr. Billie K. Winter is the owner of Companion Pet Care. She graduated from the Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2001. Prior to that, she earned a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Oklahoma and a PhD in Bioengineering from the University of Washington. She did cancer research for several years before deciding to become a veterinarian. She has special interests in oncology and feline medicine, but she loves working with dogs and other small mammals, too!
Dr. Winter and her husband live in Vermont, and have four (!) dogs and "way too many" cats. In her spare time, she plays clarinet with the St. Johnsbury Town Band and the Northeast Kingdom Symphony Orchestra as well as singing in the choir (and very occasionally playing the piano) at All Saints Episcopal Church in Littleton. Dr. Winter no longer has much free time to spend riding her bright yellow motorcycle, since she and her husband now play chauffeur to their kids, Anna and William!
Dr. Anne Hansalik
Dr. Anne Hansalik has been with us since February of 2009 on a weekly and relief basis. She graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine at Texas A&M in 1985, and has practiced extensively in Texas and New Hampshire. Dr. Anne lives in Sugar Hill with her husband, four children (only one still at home!), one dog (Crockett) and one cat (Jack, formerly known as One-eyed Jack, from CPC!)
