Dr. Billie is the owner of Companion Pet Care. She graduated from the Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2001. Prior to that, she earned a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Oklahoma and a PhD in Bioengineering from the University of Washington.
She did cancer research for several years before deciding to become a veterinarian. She has special interests in oncology and feline medicine, but she loves working with dogs and other small mammals, too!

Dr. Winter and her husband live in Vermont, and have two children  (Will and Anna), three dogs, eight cats, two parakeets, two guinea pigs, and numerous tropical fish.  In her spare time, she plays clarinet with the St. Johnsbury Town Band and the Northeast Kingdom Community Orchestra as well as playing the piano and occasionally directing the choir at Christ the Redeemer Lutheran Church in Barre. Dr. Winter loves to design and make jewelry, is fond of knitting and crocheting, and reads novels whenever she has a chance. She also spends lots of time chauffeuring the kids to all their lessons and sporting events!

Joe Casciari
Consultant & Co-Owner

Joe is the co-owner of the practice and Dr. Winter’s husband. He serves as a business consultant for CPC, in addition to teaching math and science courses for community colleges in New Hampshire and Vermont. In what little spare time he has left, he enjoys taking care of the kids, riding his motorcycle, learning the bass guitar, and playing computer role-playing games.

Eva Goetz
D.V.M

Dr. Eva is originally from the Midwest, but went to vet school in New Zealand. After receiving her Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc) from Massey University in 2008, she worked briefly in Ireland and England before returning to the U.S. She initially worked at the emergency clinic in Littleton, but after starting her family, she traded night shifts for day shifts at Companion and has been a part of the team since 2013. Her professional interests are soft tissue surgery and ultrasound.

Outside of Companion, Dr. Eva enjoys spending time exploring the outdoors with her family, trail running with her Border Collie, and talking the ear off anyone who asks for veterinary advice.

Anne Hansalik
D.V.M

Dr. Anne has been with us since February of 2009 on a weekly and relief basis. She graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine at Texas A&M in 1985, and has practiced extensively in Texas and New Hampshire. Dr. Anne lives in Sugar Hill with her husband and dogs, Crockett and Lady.

Becky Proud
Staff Supervisor

Becky is the senior member of our technical staff and is our Staff Supervisor. She has been with us since 1996. In fact, she was on hand the day we first opened our doors in Littleton. Becky is regarded by her peers as the ‘MVP of CPC’. When she is not working she enjoys spending time with her animals and hanging out with friends and family.

Jen Kierstead
C.V.T

Jen joined the team in 2005 after graduating from Becker College in Leicester, MA with a associate’s degree in Veterinary Technology. She obtained her veterinary technician certification while starting her career at Companion Pet Care. She loves her role as a technician, but in the last few years has also served as part of the management team. Her special interests at work include staff or client education and patient care. Outside of work, she enjoys snuggling with her two cats Harley Quinn and Maple, and her dog Parsley.  She can also be found hiking, biking, and camping with her husband and three children.

Molly Reynolds
C.V.T

Molly started in October of 2020 and is the newest member of the CPC team, but feels like family already. She obtained an associate’s degree from Vermont Technical College in 2017 and became certified. Molly is a compassionate and dedicated technician and takes interest in customer service. Outside of work she enjoys spending time and doing agility with her dalmatian, Moo. She may also occasionally be seen with her husband and their other dog, Piggy.

Jackie Williamson
Customer Service Representative

After moving to New Hampshire from Cape Cod with her husband Patrick and daughter Hannah, Jackie joined our team in the summer of 2004. Our Jackie-of-all-trades has become an indispensable part of our Customer Service team and our clients love and are comforted by her friendly and supportive disposition. When she is not at work, she enjoys photography, nature, and spending time with her daughter. She lives in Twin with her husband and two cats, Puck and Squeaks.

Emma Gooden
C.V.T.

Emma has occasionally lent us a helping hand in the past, and officially became part of the team in November of 2023. She holds an Associate’s Degree in Equine Industries from UMass’ Stockbridge School of Agriculture. She has over 15 years of experience in veterinary medicine and passed the Veterinary Technician National Exam in 2020 after qualifying to take it through On-the-Job Training. She is currently taking online courses through Ashworth College to officially obtain her Veterinary Technician degree. Emma loves all aspects of her job, especially client education and patient care. While she loves all animals, cats and horses hold a special place in her heart. Outside of work, Emma enjoys spending time with her horses and competing with her Morgan, Charade. She also has recently discovered a love for fitness and you can often find her walking her dog, Rip, or working out. Emma has a small business making custom tumblers and etched glasses. When she does have a few free moments, she snuggles with her kitties Bobo, Cricket, Rory and Tilly while reading a good book.

Taylor Marsh
Veterinary Assistant

Taylor initially joined CPC on an externship from White Mountain Community College in January, 2024. Upon graduating, she seamlessly transitioned into a veterinary assistant roll in June, 2024. Taylor’s exceptional work ethic, paired with her compassionate demeanor, has made her an invaluable asset to our team. Outside of work, she enjoys exploring new destinations with her partner and cherishing quality time with her beloved springer spaniels, Pip and Luna.
